Fresh off the 2019/2020 tournament season, the Demonettes faced the Amarillo Sandies Friday night in their 2020 season opener at Dumas Demon Stadium. It was a tough night for the Demonettes as they faced a strong Sandies offense. In the end the Demonettes were never able to break through and score.

Final Score: Dumas 0 – Amarillo 11
